Another 'cast is on its way around Groundhog Day, and I'm trying to keep to a bi-weekly schedule of every other Thursday. The first show was all sorts of banging industrial with a nugget of indie hip-hop in the middle. This next one is gonna explore more downtempo and experimental stuff, including some trax from my friends Noise Theorem and Millipede, as well as a track from my own project Dead Man'z Kassette. The next show might be something completely different, and that's kinda the point. Most radio (internet radio included) follows a rigid genre programming guide. This I just want to be a reflection of what I'm into at the time, as well as provide an outlet for my own music, the music my friends make, and whatever sounds interest me.

This my be an audio dictatorship, but its a benevolent one. If you think I missed something that I should be playing or if you are a producer or are in a band that you think I'd be into email me. I'm always searching for interesting new music, and if I like it, sooner or later it'll make it into the audio stew.

The whole point of this is to play music for my friends, hopefully make some more friends and just start a little weird community of musicians and listeners who don't mind listening to my half-assed homemade mix.

Here we go....

The last thing this world needs is another podcast. So here's one more!
The first of what I hope to be many podcasts. I just got sick of radio not playing what I'm into so I decided to do it myself. There's gonna be an eclectic mix coming over the next few weeks. Industrial, Underground Hip Hop, Drum -n- Bass, Ambient, basically what ever I'm feeling at the time.

I'm hoping to promote friends' projects here as well, andI'm also open to submissions. If you got a track you want out in the world. Send me a file or link:

invasivespeciesradio@gmail.com

Enjoy the migrane!

http://www.mixcloud.com/invasivespeciesradio/the-maiden-voyage-or-the-cherry-pop/
